History Sites Travel Blog

Pictures, videos, and descriptions are wonderful for seeing and learning, but there really are no adequate substitutes for physically exploring and experiencing sites and artifacts...in person. Visiting and visually beholding great fields of battle, grand vistas, and museum artifacts where the places and pieces that significantly altered human experience creates incredible awe and wonder. The following is a partial list of some of the places I have been able to experience in person. A few are cities, regions or people. While media cannot replicate being there, it is the next best thing.

Mission Statement
The over-arching goal of this history course is to provide the desire and tools for each student to become a lifelong history learner by equipping them with the ability to read history, critically acquire historical knowledge through a variety of mediums, and defend historical arguments orally and in writing.
