Search Ohio History Connection Archives

Here is where most Ohio History research begins. Enter your desired search and the query will be returned showing the holdings of the Ohio History Connection archives. Many of these are on site only. Selecting your desired items and paging them prior to arrival at the archive allows a much more efficient visit.

Ohio memory has a large number of collections from a diverse number of places

Ohio Newspapers

The newspapers portion allows searches of Ohio newspapers from most counties. It is really just an organizational tool that queries the LOC collections. It is very useful.

These are great general references for Ohio History Research. I have these in my library if Ohio History students wish to use them for their research assignment

Even though this is broader than modern geographic Ohio, this is a key piece of scholarship.

The first is an exploration of labor in Ohio while the latter is a series of essays on various topics
